Dennis Buttera, Macy's Systems and Technology

Dennis Buttera is a specialist in retailing systems. He has made a 20-year career with Macy's in roles ranging from developer to his current role as a Solutions Architect in Store Systems.

Buttera has made major contributions to Inventory, Pricing, and Task Management systems. He has been working on service-oriented architectures since 1998. Buttera lives in Gwinnett County with his wife Dana, their two children, two cats, and a cocker spaniel.

We invite and encourage you to join Atlanta BDPA for our monthly membership meeting on Wednesday, June 25. Come meet the 5 finalists selected to represent Team Atlanta in the High School Computer Competition (HSCC) at the 2008 BDPA National Technology Conference.

Efrain Irizarry, Senior Vice President, Customer Relationship Management, Macy's Systems and Technology, will issue a special welcome and you'll enjoy a mini-tech expo at the company's headquarters where you'll be able to experience the technology used in the Macy's stores. Hardware and technology experts will be available to answer all of your questions!
